Fauji Cement's Low-Alkali Cement is a Portland Cement with a total content of Alkalis not above 0.6%. It is used in concrete made with certain types of aggregates that contain a form of Silica that reacts with Alkalis to cause an expansion that can disrupt the Concrete Structure. Fauji Cement Company is fortunate with the huge natural deposits of Low Alkali Raw Materials. Utilizing this low alkali material with consistent Quality Control Checks, FCCL is producing Low Alkali Cement of superior quality.
Fauji Cement Company Limited is engaged in manufacturing and sale of Ordinary Portland Cement. The Company also offers other products, including Low Alkali Ordinary Portland Cement and Sulfate Resistant Cement (SRC) for the applications, including general construction purposes, reinforced concrete bridges, dams, sea-walls and reservoirs. The Company is operating two lines of Cement Plants, one each from FLS Denmark and Thyssen Krupp industrial solutions (TKIS) Germany.
The Company supplies cement throughout Pakistan in the provinces of Punjab, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) through dealer's network. The Company caters its services to Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, South Africa, Middle East and Africa.
